Design Beyond the Web
Since launching the website we've maintained an on-going relationship with Conservation Corps hosting their website as well as designing other collateral including annual reports, giving campaigns, signage and more.
Every year, Conservation Corps Minnesota & Iowa provides hundreds of young adults with the opportunity to engage in service that improves access to outdoor recreation, restores natural habitat, and protects waterways. What they needed from our partnership was a website that provided a design that would speak to teens and adults in their twenties while being conventionally accessible enough for parents, organizational partners, and their own staff. After a thorough research and discovery phase, followed by a complete teardown and rebuild of their existing site hierarchy, we found the right balance between how information on the site was organized and a more visually engaging presentation of that content. Some feature highlights are an improved search and filter for positions in the Join section, a programs section that is easy to scan and digest, and a highly visible alumni section to improve alumni engagement considerably.
