RWMWD

In 2022, we had the pleasure of working with the Ramsey-Washington Metro Watershed District (RWMWD), a unique organization structured very much like a nonprofit but with publicly elected officers mandated by the Minnesota Watershed Act to work with residents and businesses within their boundaries to improve the water quality of our lakes, streams, and wetlands. The challenge, of course, was being able to bring together and effectively communicate with a large board, elected officers, staff members, and several members of the public who all had significant interests in the outcome of the project and the success of the organization itself. The primary features of the website are several interactive maps developed using custom integrations with various APIs, a robust project catalog to illustrate effective policy, a comprehensive document management library complete with advanced search and filter capabilities, educational opportunities for site visitors to learn how to improve and protect their watershed, and online permitting.
